Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie | The Pomegranate Bandit

This smoothie tastes so good it should really be classified as milkshake instead of a protein smoothie, but it’s half the calories and 100 times the nutrition. Sometimes I’m still hungry after my breakfast, so I’ll make one of these puppies for the road. It keeps me satisfied well throughout the first half of the day. Here’s what to do:


  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp all natural peanut butter (try to get the no salt kind)
  • 1 scoop Gourmet Chocolate Iso-100 protein powder (this works the best, but any chocolate powder will do, even cocoa powder)
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (enough to cover ingredients)
