Peanut Butter Protein Waffles

Kara's Healthy Kitchen

As you can already tell, I started to dig in before I took the picture 🙈. These were pretty good for my first attempt at waffles! The sauce-topping wasn’t great so I won’t give out that recipe. I ended up putting a little honey on top and dipped the waffle in a little SF syrup!
For the waffles, however, you’ll need:
-1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
-1 scoop Peanut Butter Marshmallow Whey (Cellucor) (could use any flavor really, but if omitting whey, add another 1/4 cup flour)
-1/4 tsp Baking Soda
-1 tsp Baking Powder
-If desired; add 1 tbsp Chia/Milled Flax Seeds
**Mix this together, then add following:
-1/8 cup Milk of choice
-1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
**Mix very well; batter should be in the thicker side.
**Pour onto waffle maker and cook for about 1:30-2 minutes depending on your waffle maker.
**Too with desired toppings and enjoy!😊
